Not lost.

Anchored

to something

that had stopped

holding them in place —

and started

holding them

back.

The wave knew

the difference

before they did.

Loved this Leonorra.

The blend of what feels like waves in both an audible sound-wave and nautical sense, washing over you. And the underlying empowering message is wonderful.

How humbling and soul-cleansing the ocean is… such a great metaphor for emotional upheaval and churning thoughts. I suspect the answer may lie somewhere in between. Ride the next wave, while listening to the replays in the background (lessons learned). Lovely poem as always Leonorra ✨

Thank you . There’s positives and negatives in everything. As you pointed out, we learn the lesson as we ride the wave. It’s always good to hop on that wave instead of being pulled under..

The ocean holds echoes of the past and the present, everything converging into one. The waves carry both change and the promise of new hope.
